How to choose the right type of website

First you will need to decide whether you would like a custom-built website or a theme-based site. Custom-built websites are more expensive to build and you either have no management ability (control panel) or pay additional costs for one to be built for you from scratch. Custom built websites are great for larger organizations where having a truly unique website is vital.
Most smaller businesses these days go for theme-based sites, such as Content Management System (CMS) based on Wordpress framework. This option allows for a much more cost effective solution to be built, and a theme can be chosen and agreed prior to work beginning. Your own text and images are then integrated. The advantage of this is that you can get a great idea of how your website will appear before we start. Customizations to the theme can be made to suit your requirements. Wordpress-based sites also come with a built-in control panel which allow you to manage (ie. edit) your website once it is built. These are just a couple of the many advantages of using Wordpress. Clients choose the template and we will purchase it on their behalf and add it to our invoice.
Other options to consider are whether you would just like a basic static website that has information on your services and a contact page, or whether you would like an interactive site. An interactive site doesn’t need to be complicated, but can include features such as the ability for your visitors and customers to book online / pay online / interact with blogs etc.
